The Balvenie present the second edition to their Fifty Collection. The first edition introduced us to a European Oak Refill Butt, distilled and filled in 1973. The Second Edition Kelsey married the first with an American Oak Hogshead cask, distilled and filled in 1973. The result is gorgeously creamy and fruity.

Molten dates, sweet soft currants and a subtle citrus zest, layered over creamy honey and a buttery finish. On the nose expect floral and evocative aromas. Sticky toffee, violet and rose overlay a beautiful foundation of decades of warming oak and subtle spice.
